I photograph places as one photographs faces.

I photograph those who are overlooked, those who live on the margins, whose presence sometimes seems erased. What interests me is not just capturing faces, but revealing stories, struggles, lives that exist beyond conventional sight. I also photograph places as one would photograph faces. Behind a frozen appearance, they bear traces of time and passages. The Carousel illustrates this approach: a deserted attraction, still illuminated, but emptied of its movement and children's laughter. An imprint remains, a memory between dusk and dawn. This image is one of childhood and its fleeting moments. One can sense the past excitement, the bursts of voices that once resonated where only a strange calm now remains. It's this suspension of time that intrigues me: what remains of moments of joy once they dissipate? My photographs don't provide answers. They invite you to look differently, to imagine what was and what could be reborn.
